As Tiarna Real Estate
Services' Executive Vice President and Regional
Manager of our Los Angeles operation, Michael
McAndrews is responsible for the supervision of
management, leasing, and accounting
operations in Los Angeles.
Michael is accountable for
the management of over two and one half million
square feet of office, industrial, and medical
properties located throughout the Los Angeles
Market. His current portfolio has projects
ranging in size from 20,000 square feet to
500,000 square feet. His responsibilities
include coordination of the day-to-day
management, leasing and marketing, tenant
improvements, on-site personnel supervision,
owner reporting, tenant relations, budgeting,
and fiscal planning for his property portfolio.
Michael has developed an
excellent reputation with his clients based on
his enhancement of the property performance
through positive relationships with owners,
tenants, merchant associations, brokers, and
vendors. He has excellent salesmanship skills
with impressive lease interpretation and
organizational abilities. Michael has worked
with such clients as Bank of America, Wells Fargo
Bank, Manufacturers Bank, Tokai Bank of
California, Mass Mutual Life Insurance, Mutual
of New York, Blackrock Realty, Principal
Financial Group, AMRESCO, as well as several
private investors.
Prior to his joining Tiarna
Real Estate Services, Incorporated, Michael was
employed with the Charles Dunn Company as the
Regional Manager of their San Francisco-Bay Area
office. Michael has gained expertise in the
areas of tenant retention and renewals;
supervision of construction, engineering, and
maintenance personnel; vendor scheduling,
emergency building procedures, budgeting and
accounting requirements. He continues to be
successful in maintaining tight control over
delinquencies while promoting positive tenant
relations. He is continually looking for cost
saving opportunities for his properties while
enforcing terms of vendor contracts for the best
possible building operation and appearance.
Michael
is a graduate of Santa Clara University where he
earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics
and Real Estate. While attending Santa Clara,
Mike was active as vice president of the Real
Estate Association and a member of the Business
Administration Association.
Michael
holds a California Real Estate License,
Certified Property Manger (CPMŪ) designation
from the Institute of Real Estate management (IREMŪ),
and a Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSMŪ)
designation through the International Council of
Shopping Centers (ICSCŪ). |
